Christian Brand is an Associate Professor in Transport, Energy and Environment at the University of Oxford’s ECI and Transport Studies Unit. Christian has over 25 years research experience in academic and consultancy environments, including as PI or CoI on research projects worth over £25 million. He is Co-Director of the UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC) for which he leads projects on road transport electrification pathways and EV-grid ‘readiness’. He leads a major project in CREDS on spatial travel demand and energy systems modelling, and is CoI on an EPSRC project on trialling electric micromobility vehicles.
